Problem

An object has been skinned with a large set of attributes. Now you want to apply the same set to multiple objects. How?

Solution

Use the Paste Attributes command or the new improved Style feature in Fireworks CS4.

Detailed explanation

When the object can been designed with an attribute set, just copy it (Cmd/Ctrl+ C). Select another object or a set of objects where you want to apply that set. Then goto Edit->Paste Attributes menu itemand the selected objects will be applied with the set of attributes.

If you wish to keep the attribute set as an asset to be reused in future across multiple files, objects or even applicaiton sessions, then create it as a style set. Goto Styles panel and create a new style. The newly created style will pickup attributes from the selected object.
